Red Exclamation signs on desktop

I have got the red exclamation marks on each one of my files, music, movies and office files.
is there some thing wrong with the programs or what?
my computer and windows are uptodate
what to do to get rid of these red signs

I agree with wr2 this is usually a signal of some sort of backup program!
