Resolved: problem with PCI simple Communication Controller

Hello,
Assembling a brand new system, centered on the ASUS P8H77-V motherboard and intel i-7 processor. Ran into trouble with the simple communication controller driver, Windows 7 Pro, 64bit. After installing the os, I made the mistake of installing the drivers out of order on the ASUS driver CD that came with the system board. I ended up reloading the OS and installed the drivers in order as they appear on the DVD. I received an error when installing the USB 3.0 driver hub, it seems the driver installed anyway and it also cleared up the simple comm controller issue. I hope this helps someone.
