Call and ask! I think that the difference is whether the L2 bridges are cut or not, and whether or not they have copper interconnects or not. AYHJA core? I have know idea why they said that. They might mean AVIA?

No, when the meant AYHJA core, they really meant AYHJA core.
They are the NEWEST batch of 1.33 ghz CPUs. There has been word that they are the same as the upcoming 1.4 ghz, just underclocked. In addition, those new batches are supposedly able to overclock to 1.6 ghz --some even higher than 1.7 ghz. The AXIA 1.33 ghz, on the other hand, are usually overclockable to a little more than 1.5 ghz (depending on HSF and other factors).

There are even new batches of the 1.0 ghz CPU with steppings AXIAR and ARGA--which are suppose to be overclockable to at least 1.5 ghz and 1.3 ghz, respectively.

Read about the AYHJA stepping at http://www.athlonoc.com/.

Apparently, there is some evidence that there as been an actual change to the architecture.

Update:

Jeez ! Read this blurb where one person claims the AYHJA T-birds runs eight (8) degrees cooler than an AXIA core! Read it at http://www.overclockers.com/tips487/ and more at http://www.overclockers.com/home.asp

I wonder if it is true.
