after playing with some FSB settings in Gigabytes Tuneup 4 program , i cannot log back into windows on reboot.

It will not accept my Password !!!

Yes , i have checked , it is in the correct case.

I get error message saying "system could not log you on, make sure user name and domain are correct"

I have tried removing my CMOS battery from the MoBo for 10 minutes . but cannot find a "clear CMOS" jumper on my new GA 7VAXP.

How do i reset my password ???? WTF ???

Reset CMOS won't resolve your problem as it already booted into Windows. I guess the only way is to log on as administrator, delete your account and setup a new one. You have to spend time to configure it again, but it'd be better and less time consuming than reinstall Win2000!

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.

Also, the password is case sensitive. I don't know how many times I've gotten that message to realize the caps lock was engaged or the num lock was disengaged.

Scroll down and there is a section on making a boot disk to change win2k passwords.

If you're an ugly bastard click <A HREF="http://www.lochel.com/THGC/album.html" target="_new"> here</A> to feel better about yourself.
