Xbox Wireless Adapter

I am using the Xbox Wireless Adapter (along with the
Microsoft base station). At times, the 'Wireless' light
won't stop flashing on the adapter. When this happens, I
can not get into Xbox live. If I try to troubleshoot
(via Xbox live) it detects multiple wireless networks
(including mine). After some period of time,
the 'Wireless' light will go solid, and when that happens
I am able to sign in to Xbox live. Is it possible it's
having difficulties because it's detecting multiple
wireless networks? I've tried resetting all pieces of HD
involved...
