I usually have the voltage pumped up to 1.75 so I get to 1Ghz, but my box is running hot lately. =(

Mind you, this is a Duron 600 @942 Mhz. Maybe not the fastest cpu in this thread, but im pretty sure is (one of) the highest overclock(s) (57% !!) Not bad for a $30 cpu, no ?

argh... posting WCPUID specs means nothing unless
you tell what your CPU was originally!

BTW, I'll get mine up when I get home :)

Intel Components, AMD Components... all made in Taiwan!

All the Duron 600s were very overclockable. Here's mine at 1007 mhz (air-cooled).

Highest doesn't really count as it isn't very stable. My normal runs 40Hrs+ with no troubles. Oh yeah, it is at 40C as I write, 1.8V, aircooled. Started life as a 1.33 AXIA.

p.s.

How come my Pentium2 233Mhz WCPUID says the internal clock is 233.33 but my L2 speed is only 116.67?

P2 runs it's L2 on 1/2 of the CPU speed. I can't run WCPUID on my machine so I just post /proc/cpuinfo's output:

[priit@priit priit]$ cat /proc/cpuinfo

Never overclocked, probably never will be: boring, isn't it? :)
