Hello, my question is i have been offer a work at home position and I just got a exede connection installed so i meet all of their upload and download speeds..now my problem is the voip is not scoring high enough 3.4 in and 3.4 out..is my score..i downloaded a better driver..and it helped..my question if i get a router would this help..normally it would be hooked up to one and the installer would have installed it however my son gave me a router that was for a dsl..so it wouldn't work..do you have any suggestions and what router is the best for my computer...thanks..

If anything a router between your computer and the ISP will make things slower, but you should have a router for security reasons anyway.
