Hi all,

I have been on these forums before, but a while ago, and received some excellent help on a gaming setup that I was planning on buying. You guys will be happy to hear that it all went successfully and I could not be happier :)

My system is as follows:

x4 965 (oc to 3.6ghz)
xfx 5870 1gb (stock)
4gb memory
H50 corsair cpu cooler
2x 1tb hard drives

That was just for anyone who was interested, and by the way when I get eyefinity I will be purchasing another 5870 (do you guys think that 2 5870's in cf will run new games fine?).

Currently at the moment I have a samsung B2430H: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001388&cm_re=B2430H-_-24-001-388-_-Product

I am really loving the monitor, does anyone here have it?

In a couple of weeks time it will be my birthday and I am just asking for money with which I am hoping to buy some more monitors for eyefinity. There are a couple of worries that I am having at the moment.

Firstly, does anyone know if the monitor supporst vesa mounting?
Secondly, the bezel are pretty thick, will I notice them whilst gaming or should I just get 3 more monitors?
thirdly, do you guys use landscape or portrait mode more?

If I was to just get three more monitors I will probably get this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009245 , does anyone have any experiences with this monitor? If so would you recommend it or not.

Obviously, as I am only 15 years old, money does matter (i.e it would be financially easier to stay with my current monitor) however, do you guys think the thick thick bezels will just be a deal breaker, or with the new bezel compensation would it actually be better because you would have a larger FOV?

One last thing, when I get either of the monitors I am planning on some mounting options.

What do you guys think about this method: http://www.overclock.net/monitors-displays/845209-cheap-eyefinity-stand-simple-mod.html

Sorry for the long text and questions, I am relatively new to forum posting :)

Thanks in advance.

Just in case anyone is wondering the size of the bezel is 1 inch or 2.5 cm. Would this be way too large for eyefinity especially as they will be next to each other creating a 2inch gap

I'm not interested in EyeFinity, but in my opinion if the bezel is about 1" wide, then that means the total bezel wide between two monitors will be 2" wide which is a bit too wide for my taste if I were to play game across multiple screens.

I do have a dual monitor setup, but my 2nd monitor (Planar PX2611) is only used periodically when I want to do a decent amount of multi-tasking.

Both monitors have bezels are almost 11/16th of an inch wide which works out to almost a total of 1 3/8 of an inch wide which in my opinion is more acceptable.
