Monitor basics

Hello,

I have seen following information about a monitor at newegg, now I have some basic questions about monitors:

23" monitor
1920 x 1080 5ms
DC 3,000,000:1 (1,000:1)...

1. What do the 5ms mean?
2. What would 2ms mean?
3. What does DC 3,000,000:1 (1,000:1)... mean?
4. Are there also 23" or 21" monitors with 2560x1600 resolution?
5. How does the resolution relates to the monitor size: the bigger the monitor, the higher the resolution?

I sell monitors in my shops...

5ms = crap gaming
2ms = good gaming
