Hi! I have a P3 500 slot 1 processor on a Asus P3B-F with intel 440BX chipset. I would like to change my CPU to a Celeron 850 socket 370. Can I buy something to fit a 370 processor on a slot 1 motherboard? And would the P3B-F accept the Celeron ( with a bios flash? ). And does the Celeron 850 is ok with the 440BX chipset and 2X AGP. Thank you for your help!

Asus's latest BIOS for this board does support the Coppermine, but I would recommend the PIII 700 instead of the Celeron. The 700 is one of the best overclockers for most PIII motherboards, should you choose to push it. IT will go to 933@133. You can use the Socket 370 w/converter (aka "slotket" ), or you can use the Slot1 version. I recomned using the "slotket" as it gives you more options for heatsinks, upgrades, etc.
