chlorine the orcish barbarian was one of the most promising characters
I ever had. I took her to Sokoban, and this was the second time ever I
reached Sokoban.
The first level I did without problem, but at the second level I acted
a little bit too quickly, and misread the locations of the boulders,
hence I was unable to complete (actually I put only one boulder in a
hole...).
I was a little pissed up at this, when I saw a floating eye near me. I
wanted to pass my nerves on it, so I decided to kill it. I considered
going at it with my sword, but thought this was stupid because it would
freeze me and something else would kill me. Therefore I wielded a sling
I had, to go at it with rocks or stones. An _unidentified_ sling.
'The sling welds itself into your hand'.
Oh bother.
I had gotten two scrolls in Sokoban, I thought they should be nice
scrolls, so maybe they would be scrolls or remove curse. I read one.
'The ceiling crumbles above you' or some message like that.
I do not die because I had a helmet, but found myself totally surronded
by boulders, with no mean of pushing them away because I was in
Sokoban. I had no pick-axe (and couldn't have used one if I had because
of the sling). I tried my unidentified wands in the hope that one would
be a wand of digging. No luck there.
I winded up reading all my scrolls (including two other scrolls of
earth in the hope that the _ceiling_ would fall also and I coud fall in
another level) and quaffing my potions in the hope that something
miraculous would happen. Of course it did not.

After that I thought I would die of hunger. I ran into an orc, killed
it and ate its corpse. Well of course the corpse was poisonous and I
died a few turns after that.
Doh.

You always found two of these in the first Soko level.

I assume he was refering to food poisioning from tainted corpses which is
different then regular poisioning. Orcs are still vulnerable to the
former, even if they are immune to the latter.
