Can't Install SP1

ok, can't install the service pack because i got an Illegal Copy! ...

so for my new system i plan to buy a brand new copy.. that copy on newegg for 145? is that the one to get.. because there's also the expensive copy on there too..

Get serious. The internet is full of serial generators and fixes so that the SP1 works on the illegal copy. If u want, mail me and I'll mail u the kgen for Xp

Don't use the .exe SP1 hack, it has a trojan in it. Use the zipped version instead, with individual files inside.

Is it really illegal if u paid $10,000 for several hundred licenses of xp corp+ other releases (and server releases, msdn stuff, and some cool 64 bit oses) but r too lazy to get the key, so u use the rhqq2 one?

The ONLY problem I've had after SP1 is Diskeeper 7.0. After doing a boot-time defrag, my XP install gets hosed. I can pull files off the drive, but Windows will NOT boot.

I'm staying away from a boot-time defrag until I'm sure it's going to work. I recently upgraded my Diskeeper to build 422, but I still don't know if this problem is fixed. If anyone has heard anything, by all means let me know!
