Win 7 install

i Have a Dell 4600 Desktop. the bios does not have an option to boot from DVD or USB. I ahve latest BIOS (A12). Can't install Wondows 7 upgrade becuse it came on a DVD. What can I do?

It is unusual not to be able to set the boot order from your bios. Is it not F12 on your system. If you are doing an upgrade you can do it while running your current version of windows. Just put your DVD in and follow the instructions.( This is considered the better way to upgrade anyway) Dont forget to back up all your stuff first. Upgrading is supposed to leave your data intact but dont depend on it.
