My ASUS A7M266 has a VIA chipset as its southbridge, so I should use the 4 in 1's right? The thing is, my mobo CD came with 3 in 1's, but the version was outdated by about .02. Which one should I use?

One reason for using the 3 in 1's would be that they were tested for compatibility for my A7M, but I don't know, I'd rather have an updated version.

Edit: Or should I just use the AMD Bus master drivers? The thing is I can't find a version of the latter for the 761 (they have it for 766 and 756 peripheral controllers)
Edited by vapor on 06/14/01 08:56 PM.

The bus master drivers are made for the southbridge you only have an AMD northbridge. you need the most recent amd agp drivers along with the via 4n1 drivers ( 4.31) The 4n1 set should only install the drivers that your system needs.

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing!
