During xp installation the blue screen error was occure ?

Hello Sir/Madam,
Now, i am using windows 7 ultimate os, after that i will try to use xp. so
i will install xp from cd. but during boot process..the blue screen error was occured after the statement setup is windows starting..

the said blue screen error was ..
problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer. if this first time u r seeing.....

like this..
so..

what can i do.?

pls solve the problem and help me..

If you are replacing Win 7 with XP, delete the partition on which Win 7 was installed and format the drive.

If you are trying to dual boot XP and 7, you will need to reverse the process and install XP first onto one partition and then 7 onto another. You can find more information in regards to the process and steps required HERE .
