More Information

I'm considering a 1.2 or maybe the 1.4GHz Athlon. Is it better to go with the retail box with the heatsink and 3yr warranty or ....

the OEM with a Thermaltake or Cooler Master heatsink?

I personally get OEM cpu's. If they work the first time you turn it on, then they'll likely work forever. So, a 3 year warranty is silly. But, if your the type who doesn't have a clue as to what you are doing- you'd better get a retail boxed- that way if you zap it you'll be able to replace it easily.
