Keyboard not booting up with computer

My issue is that my new mechanical keyboard doesn't boot up with my desktop. It takes several minutes after boot-up and some work in the control panel to get it to work.
I have legacy support enabled in the bios.
On my laptop, connecting the keyboard is not a problem at all so it isn't the keyboard being dysfunctional.

I hope you guys can give me some ideas of what to do.

Edit: I think disabling the legacy support may have done the trick.
