I'm considering whether or not to build my next new system. I've built my current (over 1 1/2 years ago) and previous systems, but do not have the time now to do my own research on the 'best' configuration for what I want to do and spend.
I would like to get away with spending approx $1,500 on just the box (i.e. motherboard, cpu, cooling, power supply, RAM, all drives, box, cards, etc) and will be using it primarily for many hours of 3D online gaming using WinXP PRO.
I'd appreciate any advice you have to offer and would seriously consider buying a preassembled system if the price and 'fit' is right.
Try monarchcomputers.com they are well built computers with good reputation. Good luck with your system. If you want some advice go with the new ASUS n-force board deluxe, you will thank yourself later. And dont go cheep on the powersupply. You will injure you system in the long run if you go cheep on the PSU.
