i am getting a new laptop in the coming week that i use for cad programs, rendering, and programs like MATLAB. i also game frequently so a good processor an graphics card is important. i am looking at getting at this laptop but was wondering if any of you knew of a different laptop with a Sandy Bridge cpu the better the cpu the better.

?? it is currenly listed as out of stock, didn't see the price.
It list 3 USB ports, But does NOT state if usb2 or 3. In a new high end laptop, I consider US3 a must.
Probably only one HDD bay - For me a 2 bay laptop is a real +. SSD for speed and a 2nd Bay for HDD for storage.

Not a gamer so you / others will have to evaluate the dedicated GPU

I'm leaning toward the Asus N535V series, probably more expensive.
