Aspire notebook dc jack glue

Hello, because I had troubles charging my acer aspire 5315 notebook and the dc jack seemed to be broken, I ordered a new dc jack.
It comes complete with small cable to plug it in on the mainboard , so there is no soldering involved.
My question is: should the dc-jack be glued into the case or is the small adhesive tape that is already provided on the jack enough to fix it ?

There is a screw or 2 to hold the jack in place.
