Asus laptop not starting to post screen

My asus 1005HA laptop does not boot up, not even to post screen. Problem started when I changed the hard disk. Any help please. Thanks

Just changing the hard-drive would not cause it to not even start up, either something got damaged when you replaced it, or it died on it's own and the drive change was just coincidence. The post kristain posted is a bit off the subject here.

Do you get any lights on the laptop when you plug it in, charge light or something? Any lights when you try to turn it on? Fan noise, power lights, etc...?
