I wanna get my dad a camera for Christmas. I was just wondering if the bigger C4000 takes as good as pictures as the Canon competitor. THanks guys.

Here are a couple good reviews of them with sample pictures, hopefully that helps you. I have owned and used several canon cameras and they have all been VERY nice. I have not yet used an olympus to know if they are good or not. Canon has been top of the line for as long as I can remember so if you want to play it safe, just get the canon.

I have the Canon A80 and I am VERY happy with it. Canon lenses are always very good, and the A75 has manual controls, which can be very useful.
