Build your own treasure zoo

Build your own treasure zoo, in three easy steps and one difficult
one:

1. Start a game and notice that you have a potion of confusion (or
non-blessed booze), scrolls of taming and create monster, and a wand
of polymorph. (Er, this is the difficult step.)

2. Read confusion and create a bunch of acid blobs. Surround yourself
by as many as possible (hopefully eight) and tame them. Kill the other
few so they don't get in the way.

3. Keep lining up the acid blobs and polying them until you have a
satisfactory zoo. Minotaurs, demiliches, and other high-level
creatures are recommended, as long as you take proper care of them and
don't leave them lying around on some high level to attack you later.

4. Convert your zoo into a treasure zoo by leading it on a rampage
through Minetown. Collect the gold. Smile.

When I learned it my opinion of the best armor changed.
Since robe best [oMR among cloaks, MR is needed from
something else. That leads me to want GDSM, "oR, a
robe, plus the usual accessories.

Why only eight? If you are confused you have a much bigger taming radius
(radius 5 instead of 1).

Ooh, I didn't know that.

You never learn everything about this game, do you? Someone told me
the other day that wearing a "robe" helps with spellcasting. I thought
they were just a last resort if you didn't even have an oilskin cloak,
let alone CoMR or displacement.
