Both are very good printers and it may come to features and which has more that you need. Then you have to look at ink prices and availability and I would think that Cannon would have the more available ink options. You also want to look at what your going to need to be buying for ink cartridges. Does the printer have seperate cartridges , I have seen some with 6 or 8 differnent cartridges and that can get expensive. In this respect I think Lexmark has the better solution because the Lexmark we had just needed two cartridges , one black and one tri-color.
