Evening folks. I have come across an issue in Windows 7 using WMP12. I cannot rip a cd in wav(lossless). I can rip it using other formats. However i'm not interested in using a lower bit rate, since i have almost 2k songs ripped at this bit rate already.

I did all my ripping under Windows Vista, and put it an hold when i was using Windows 7 Beta 7057. I decided to continue ripping my collection after i installed Windows 7 RC 7100. I would like to continue using WMP since i have done the rest with it. But if we can't solve this problem then i will have to use alternate ripping software. At which point i will take recommendations :)

I literally just upgraded to the RC less then a week ago. My computer was disabled for about 3 weeks, and i needed to get a reinstall in before the BETA was expired. I don't plan to upgrade my installation until i have a Retail Copy But thanks for your input.

if the beta was working u should have jus cracked it, 7100, u can get 7600
