New AMD & Intel Roadmap

AMD has put up a new CPU roadmap...

Nothing too exciting. The main point they make is creating a 'value server' segment.

It looks like they are getting the marketing side ready for the launch of the desktop Palomino & Morgan cores (July 23?).

Also Northwood is due in November at 2Ghz & 2.2Ghz.

More about intel roadmap
  1. if they released it in the end of julie
    intel will get screwed

    computer
  2. ~intel will get screwed~

A4 added much needed power stepping for the mobile market and SMP in the server market but will not add any 'Intel screwing' features for the desktop. A4 will deliver a nice little increment and thats about all.

  3. Really? I thought "Intel screwing" was one of the new features being introduced. Or does it just not work right?
