I was curious as to if anyone knew if AMD's next chips, the Thoroughbred and Barton, could be used in Socket A mainboards. This would greatly extend the life of my system.

Someone put a bullet in the mustang. I believe its was canned and labled as "SPAM".

The morgan wil replace the Duron

"The "Thoroughbred" and "Appaloosa" are 0.13 micron versions of the Palomino and Morgan, respectively. The Thoroughbred should ride in first in early Q1 of 2002 with the Appaloosa coming one quarter later. "

We are still waiting for news of fab 30 plant being finished let alone first working .13 micron sample. when its done the world will know.

At least they are in progress of fitting fab 30 for .13 micron.
