HD 5570 driver install issue

I have a Dell Optiplex 745, core 2 duo, with an ATI HD5570. When I attempt to install the drivers, I get a blue scree when it is in progress. I've installed 2 other cards without any issue. When I google it, I get quite a few answers spread amongst different machines. I'm just not fully understading.

Just because you have a video card, does not mean it's compatible with the other hardware.

I went to device manager, browse for best ddrive, navigated tto the driver cd. It worked just fine,
