I just bought an ASUS a7v133 and an Athlon 1.33GHz/266, along with 2 sticks of PC133 RAM and a video card. For a cooler I bought the coolermaster DP5-6H11, which is supposed to be good for up to 1.5GHz.

The problem I'm having is that after running for a little while, If I shut down, I'm unable to start the system again for at least an hour or so...as if something has to cool down. I currently only have a 250 watt power supply, so I'm wandering if that's the problem, or if I have a cooling problem. I have an old p5 fan screwed onto the heatsink of my Radeon video card, and I also have an extra case fan blowing air into the case. The heatsink on the T-Bird feels hot to the touch, but isn't unbearably so.

If anyone has any insight as to what my problem might be, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Get a bigger power supply, 300W or higher is usually recommended. As for the heatsink, get a better fan. Evercool fans are available from nexfan.com for $6 which flow twice as much air or more.
