Help Choosing an Appropriate UPS

Hey Folks,

Looking for some help choosing an appropriate UPS for my system. The Following Equip would be plugged in for sure with an optional list below it:

Personal PC
XFX 650Watt Power supply
INTEL CORE I5-3570
Kingston HyperX Blu 16GB DDR3 1600MHz
EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 2GB
Gigabyte Intel Z77 CrossfireX ATX Motherboard
SABRENT USB 2.0 802.11N WIFI MIMO NETWORK 300MBPS
Sony Optiarc 24X DVDRW
Blue ray Drive
2 Internal HD's
Samsung S27B370H 27'' LED Monitor
LG 23 inch LCD Monitor

Work PC
acer veriton n281g
AT&T ML17929 2-Line Corded phone


Optional:
500 MB Seagate External HD
Logitech THX Powered Speakers (200Watts)

I would like at least 5 minute run time and 10% extra power for upgrades. Thanks in advance for your help.


 
What you want to do is take and add up all the wattage that you will be connecting to the UPS and then look for one that will supply what you want.

What is your budget amount for the purchase of this UPS.
Based on the power suply calculator your main Pc will draw abot 375w and that's not counting the two monitors. I couldn't run the work Pc because I don't know the specifics.
It's looking to me like your needing a 1000w UPS and after looking on Newegg those are somewhere around $600-$700.

I think that could work for you , it's 900w and you can fit your equipment into that watt capacity. Before buying just make sure it has all the requirements and features that your looking for. Go over the wattage that you have to make sure your not forgetting something and when your ready and that's the one your setteling on then go for it.
I think Tripplite is a good name for UPS and power protection.
