Hey guys,

I'm seeking some help in deciding which keyboard and mouse is appropriate for me. I made a gaming build recently and now have decided i need a keyboard and mouse to go with it. I play mostly FPS, but really everything apart from MMORPG, so no macro mice or Razer Naga like mice. So pretty much looking for...

Gaming Mouse:
approx. $50 AUS can stretch higher if needed.
Preferably able to change weight, however not needed.
Decent tracking? DPI? i really have no clue with Peripherals....
Cord is a must.
Logitech Gaming Mouse G500, Razer Taipan?

Gaming Keyboard
again approx. $50 AUS can stretch higher if its worth it
Back-lit is a must
Macro keys, media playback keys, not needed.
Sidewinder X4, Razer Lycosa perhaps?

Most things will be an upgrade from stock Microsoft :D  (they have served me well)

Sometimes a good keyboard and mouse will come with certian reatures like macros and other things but you don't have to use them. The mouse I have has a ton of feastures but I didn't buy it for thos I bought it basicly for looks first and the number of extra buttons. It does have the option to do macros but never use that, same with the keyboard.
So if an item is suggested that has macros you can just not use that feature.

I don't know what you can get this keyboard for where you live but I have it and I do like it , the keys are good and you have the replaceable red keys fot wasd and 123456 whcich is helpful when gaming.

The G9X is a great mouse and has a lot of features that you can use or not. The shift on the fly DPI is helpful and the adustable weights are also. Again I don't know what you can get this for where you live.
