Installing windows 7 to a 1tb hard drive

Hello just finished my new build and will be installing windows 7 64bit on it in a couple of days but wanted to check if i install it on a 1tb F3 drive and also install games ect to same drive will it noticably affect my performance or should i buy a seperate drive to install the OS on? cant afford a SSD at the mo.

U need made at least 4 partitions for the HD, with this u can afford a good performance on the HD without any risk to lost files if the HD fails in some point.
