Cant get my tv to work as a monitor using hdmi

Hello,

I have my new rig all set up and fanning away but i dont even know whats happenning because my lcd tv that using as a monitor bout 22", is just saying no signal when i hook it up with a hdmi cable. its all compatible, and everything is in the right place and i have even played with the tv's settings.. anybody help out who might have had the same problem??

without more information to what you tested and what you didnt...

its most likely either:
a) your computer not being assembled 100% right OR the internals needing to be refitted because they came loose during shipping.
b)the cable not being connected correct OR some sort of wrong adapter.
c)not having your monitor on the right input source.

we need to know if your pc boots fine and runs on another monitor (or if that tv is the only monitor)

we also need to know if it is a prebuilt pc, if it is direct hdmi-hdmi or if it needs adapters

the more information you give the more helpfull people here can be.
