My how can i keep my hp deskjet 5150 printerfrom blurring the words and sloping

my shared hp deskjet 5150 printer has suddenly started to print the same word over and over again making it blurry ans sloping it down hill to the right. It also started banging alot. Things I have tried deleted the queue of waiting jobs, restart and printed a test page[which came out fine]. Should I use a big Knockohmeter on it
