My girlfriend needs a laptop for professional use and internet. I'd very much appreciate your suggestions for a mid-range system.
1. What is your budget?
Around 700$, I would say.
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
~15.4"
3. What screen resolution do you want?
Unimportant.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Desktop replacement.
5. How much battery life do you need?
Not so important.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that
you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
No.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)
Internet and office.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Not much, but SSD would be nice.

Quanta and Compal (because the make almost all of them)

Build quality is most important, chipset performance 2nd most.
Keyboard keys should not be raised to avoid dust and dirt amassing too much, touchpad should be sturdy, prefferably matte screen and yeah SSD would be nice.
