Has anyone else noticed that this mouse has disappeared? I am interested in purchasing and can not find it for sale in any store or on any website including razerzone. I have heard of some issues with the mouse which makes me wonder if they have pulled it from retail in the mean time while they try to fix tracking issues. Should I wait to hear more about the Ouroboros or go for a current mouse? I am really interested in a good wireless gaming mouse and the Cyborg RAT 9 has caught my attention. Not sure on what wireless gaming mouse to pick, only that it should be wireless because cord drag is quite annoying.

Something like this may be a solution and everybodys setup is different and for me I have never noticed the cord drag but if your used to a wireless then you will notice the cord. I have not used a wireless mouse for any extended periiood of time so for me the cord is not noticable, I'm sure that if I started useing a cordless full time and after 6 months to a year tried a corded one I would notice the difference.
The way the cord is routed to the computer has a play in noticing and if it hangs over the edge of the surtface you will have drag.

Anyway look at the thing I linked and see if that's something that could work.
Battery life is also quite annoying and the mouse going dead in the middle of a game is also. But everyone has thier prefferences and yes there were a lot of issuses with the Razer Ouroboros and there was a thread posted here in the forums and there were a number of prople that jumped in , all with the same issues. It's not surprising that Razer pulled the mouse and they will either fix it's design flaw or scrap it.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion! I found a similar product on amazon and have just placed an order. Hopefully this will alleviate my issue. As for my setup, my cord does hang off the edge of a surface as I have no alternative. For reference, here is what I ordered: http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-Skorpion-Flexible-SGA-2000-BKNX1/dp/B009JZ04A8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1358890034&sr=8-3&keywords=mouse+cable+management

According to Razer reps, this mouse is being relaunched at the end of Feb. Guessing they recalled it, as it were, to resolve the commonly reported problems. We'll see how it is on rebirth. I aim to get one. Limited options for us lefties, sadly.

A Razer rep said it was being "relaunched"? I ask because I asked to have my replaced and also asked if there was a recall on the Ouroboros, and they told me that there was no recall and the only reason it wasn't available anywhere was because of "high demand". Would like to get a concrete answer on this....
