Reset ink cartridges HP 4583

Hi;
i bought a refill for the black ink but th ink level is still blinking as empty.
the ink number is 121

The indicator is on the printer itself, or is it part of the monitoring software on your PC? If the later, you can use a reset ink level button inside the program, if it has one.
in the former case, you can try to clean all the contacts on the back of the cartridge and the contacts on the cartridge carrier.
If it is not an OEM cartridge you might not be able to get a reading on the level. Aftermarket/third-party refill cartridges sometimes do not report the correct level to the printer.

yes i agree with it... most of the ink cartridges are not that compatible on your printer...
