My question is that are all TN panel colour quality and overall quality the same?
For instance, i have here on my other computer a 19" LG Flatron E1940S-PN and the colour on it is just hideous!
However i have another monitor for my main computer, an 23"/24" Acer S231HL and the colour is alot better than the LG and is alot more pleasing to look at(the colours on it)

The reason is that, im planning to buy a 120Hz 3D monitor and 98% of the 3D monitors with at least 120hz out there is made from TN panels. The monitor im particularly in favour to is the BenQ XL2420TX.
Im just worried that if i buy the BenQ it'll be more like the LG with the hideous colours

I have never done any software based inhancements to a monitor but I have read feedback and reviews about people that do use a software program to calibrate thier monitrors color and they have made thier monitor much better color wise.
If you have an Nvidia video card then the Nvidia control panel has adjustments that can be made for a monitors color.

I recently watched a review for BenQ XL2420TE 144Hz gaming monitor here:

I have no personal experience with that monitor but that seems to be a viable option when it comes to high refresh rate gaming monitors. I suggest you look into that.
