Cannon ip2700 yellow ink problem

I have a Cannon ip2700 that I have attached a continuos ink supply. Everything works fine except after printing for awhile the yellow stops sending enough ink to the paper. Everything else works fine. I have chaged the cartridge and changed the yellow ink, tring different brands. Still have the same problem. If you have any ideas it would be a big help.

There may be a blockage in the yellow nozzles in the printhead.
Remove the printhead and soak in hand-hot (not boiling) soapy water overnight.

Do not use boiling water as it will deform the plastic printhead.
