Hello, how do i get my Seagate porable hard drive to start working or be recognize by my WD streming media player

Hi :) 

Run a hard drive test in DOS...HIRENS CD etc, it sounds like a failing hard drive...

Nah. The WD Streaming Media player is the same thing as a sling box with a fancy name. Think Roku but without the storage option attached.
