Let's see Microsoft doesn't give out code.

That's strike 1.

It's Running Windows.

That's strike 2.

so you will never get the code unless you steal it, but they will
prosecute you with there strong legal team if you did that. So I guess
you will be better off leaving well enough alone. Or you might get a
strike 3 & then you'd be out.

Well, this is sad for such a short answer. Since they no longer support
their broadband routers and have been discontinued, it doesn't make sense to
keep others from building a better product.

They still support them. They are just phasing them out. Also
Microsoft is not very likely to ever use linux for an OS on any of there
products since they do own Windows.

What insanity made you ever think they were not Windows Based for the
OS? When they (The MN-100, MN-500, & MN-700) give OS errors it is
always Windows CE that they mention, this alone should have been enough
to clear your head of such stupid thoughts.

Once again a product they make & thus they should be able to make it
work on a different piece of hardware.

Please do not contact me directly or ask me to contact you directly for
assistance.

If your question is worth asking, it's worth posting.

If it’s not worth posting you should have done a search on
http://www.google.com/ http://www.google.com/grphp?hl=en&tab=wg&q= or
http://news.google.com/froogle?hl=en&tab=nf&ned=us&q= before wasting our

My original question is answered by this link here.....

http://msdn.microsoft.com/embedded [...] fault.aspx

So the answer is not "NO" but yes....but thank you for your post.....
