I am with an older, retired couple who were given an old computer (pentium 200), with a ten GB hard drive partioned to the hilt! There is a C: D: E: F: G: H: I: J: K: I want to reformat and leave them with only a C: drive, but I have forgotten how to do this. Do I start with fdisk and when it askes me what I want to do, what do I do?

It's fairly simple. Delete all the logical drives, and then delete the extended partition. The key is ... delete the partitions in the reverse order that they were made.
