Is there anyway that to boot in safe mode or to command prompt without logging in? My keyboard and mouse driver got screwed up so I can't enter a password. I need to restore the original driver, but I don't know how.

asiest way is to boot off a 2nd disk with 2K on it, then do what you have to do on the original disk.

if you got no kb or mouse to log in, what good will it do you to log in without a password?

my computer is so fast, it completes an endless loop in less than 4 seconds!

Hmm, no reply from chenba yet?

Boot from the Windows 2000 CD, and proceed with a Windows repair. The CD will load its basic keyboard and mouse drivers so you can use it for this, then hopefully the repair will restore your KB and mouse drivers.
