The last two times I've turned on my computer I've gotten an error box that
reads "CRC error! File content has been modified. If you run a system
debugger, clear all breakpoints before running this program."
Can someone please tell me what this means, and why I am getting this
message? I have not added/changed any programs on my computer. Thanks in
advance.

Jeff,
Do you happen to have BearShare installed? If so, read on:

I'm not familiar with BearShare, but "CRC" = "Cyclic Redundancy Check",
it's akin to parity checking disk data.
This error message could be generated by any of the following reasons:
1. During the transmission of the file it became corrupt or bad
2. The file was sent inappropriately
3. The device being opened from is bad or contains errors
4. The file itself is bad or the program attempting to open the file
is bad.
