Hi there! I'm thinking about building a new computer based around an AMD processor. I've checked pricewatch and they list pretty good prices but I noticed that the Retail processors are more expensive then OEM's. Is there a significant difference(performance wise) between OEM and retail? Is it worth spending the extra money for a retail processor?

Thanks!

Retail includes a heat sink + fan, as OEM doesn't. Retails also usually have longer warrantys and come in a box. You decide.

Intel inside, AMD outside.

The chip itself is exactly the same, though. I'd recommend OEM, and then you can get whatever heatsink you want for it.
