OEM or Retail?

Hi there! I'm thinking about building a new computer based around an AMD processor. I've checked pricewatch and they list pretty good prices but I noticed that the Retail processors are more expensive then OEM's. Is there a significant difference(performance wise) between OEM and retail? Is it worth spending the extra money for a retail processor?

More about retail
  1. Retail includes a heat sink + fan, as OEM doesn't. Retails also usually have longer warrantys and come in a box. You decide.

    Intel inside, AMD outside.
  2. The chip itself is exactly the same, though. I'd recommend OEM, and then you can get whatever heatsink you want for it.

Whoever thinks up a good sig for me gets a prize
