Please help, I'm looking for a P3 @ 1 Ghz CPU, but I don't know if it's compatible.
Currently I have:
P3 600E/100Mhz
Asus CUSL2-C
(815EP chipset, 133Mhz FSB, socket 370) -- which you probably know already =|

Thank you very much.

Yes, that's the best motherboard made, runs all PIII's and Celerons. You can run the PIII 1000EB in it, or.........
simply crank your CPU up to 900 at 150MHz front side bus/1.75v core. If your memory can't handle 150MHz, you can still use the 150MHz FSB with the 133/100 setting, making the memory run at 112.5Mhz. In fact, you can probably even go much farther.

I think my memory will do (384MB PC133 from Crucial)...
I'm just affraid it'll cook the motherboard, that's why I'm looking for one instead, but it's still too much $$$... sigh

Burn up the board? Are you insane? Your motherboard is an OVERCLOCKERS board, MADE for OVERCLOCKING! It is the motherboard of CHOICE for HARDCORE PIII OVERCLOCKERS! Don't worry about the board, just learn about how it's done and try it, the motherboard is one tough unit, and the PIII has it's own overheat protection built in that will shut it off if it gets too hot.
