Thanks but im not lookig to copy DVDs, im looking to ripping a DVD onto my harddrive for editing purposes. Ie, i watn the DVD ripped onto my HD into an mpeg or avi format.

once the file is converted to an mpeg, just use a program like windvd creator and make a new dvd. this program is usually given with the purchase of a dvd burner. or, you may have something else that will do the job too. I use roxio DVD builder.
