*DSM changes you into a * dragon if you're wearing the scale mail, and walk
over a poly trap.
What about other items?
Unicorn horns meld into your skull if wielded, and you are transformed into
a unicorn.
Same with worm teeth.
Leather armour makes you into a horse?

Only if you're walking around the dungeon with the horn strapped to
your forehead.

Likewise, only if you are storing these in your mouth.
