Cmos Password Not Wokring - Vaio

hi!
i just got my friend VAIO laptop , it has a cmos password so each time the computer loads its ask for password before windows start.

i knew the password , i entered the cmos setup , i entered the security tab and entered the current password and in the new password i just hit enter so it will be empty so it wont ask for password.

now when the computer start it asks for password and no matter what i enter as the password its wrong and i cant work on the computer.
i even tried the old password which worked but now it wont.

help here plz!

hi, had this a year back, sorry to said you need to pop the cmos battery out, that means that you have to take your laptop apart, to get at it on the motherboard, you can lookup how to take it apart on utube. i hope that helps
