Ad-aware, Norton Antivirus and WINXP

hello,
i was just wondering when a program like norton antivirus and adaware is scanning for virus/spyware, how do u make it sacn ALL the user acoounts(my sister shares the computer with me, we have set it so we are both comp admin and our accounts are passowrd protected)???, coz when i am scanning, it only seems to scan my account

I'm sure it just scans everything on your computer in adware - look at the descriptions to check.
